The ever
busy Admiralty Way at Lekki, Lagos came under heavy shooting on Thursday 12,
March when a gang of armed robbers invaded a branch of First City Monument Bank
(FCMB). Reports confirm that four persons were killed.[see video]
I had no
knowledge that a robbery of such magnitude occurred until about 9:30PM. I was
dazed because the location of the robbery wasn’t far from where I was domiciled
that day. After ruminating over this, God gave me a spark of light in Psalm
91:1 “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under
the shadow of the Almighty”. This secret place is neither a cathedral nor a
cave: it’s a name! That may sound bizarre ,but I am not kidding. Now what is
this name? JESUS. Virtually every ‘Christian’ call this name, but not all dwell
in this secret place. You qualify to dwell in this secret place only when you
believe in the name. For those who already dwell, God always designs ways to
shield them from evil. I had a very strong reason to be around the scene of the
robbery because it’s the route to the house of one of my clients. Surprisingly,
God designed that I got seriously engaged trying to make online payments for
some e-registrations. I got a hell of stress trying to collate every necessary
data needed to fill-out an electronic form. When I was done with what I could
do, I was already exhausted and had to postpone the engagement with my client.
All the four persons that got killed were not in the bank, but outside the
bank. God’s got a secret place and it’s time you walked into it.
