INEC boss Attahiru Jega has just kicked against the summoning of INEC's Resident Electoral Commissioners (REC) by some state governors. He responded to a question about this in a press briefing a while ago. According to him "INEC is an independent body". He has implored the electorate to furnish the electoral body with reliable information concerning this.
