“That was one of the many, many jobs I
didn’t get. It’s always fun to see a movie that you know really well and love
with this alternate-universe person in there. So while I was a little
embarrassed to reveal one of my many failures in life, at the same time I
couldn’t deprive Titanic
lovers of seeing that alternate universe.” Jeremy Sisto
Those were the words of the man who once ran to play Jack Dawson in
James Cameron’s 1997 Titanic, but, of course, ultimately lost out to
Leonardo DiCaprio. His words showed that the monumental loss caused him
heartbreak. Recently I shared with you something on a broken spirit. Heartbreak
is one of the symptoms of a broken spirit. It is basically a product of failure
that gives you cause to regret every day. Today, I will share with you certain
tips that will help you recover from heartbreak forever.
·
Check if your not
getting the success was God-ordained: Not every opportunity that comes our way
is God-ordained. That something appears promising does not automatically give a
reason to go for it. If it is not programmed for you then let go. This is where
most persons get it wrong. People find it hard to accept this fact because of
the way they see opportunities. That it looks good does not mean it’s good for
you.
·
Diagnose the reason
for your failing: Now if that opportunity was designed for you then something
went wrong. When you see the reason for failing quickly address it in order to
preclude it for causing further loss.
·
Get only close to
people that are compassionate and not those who enjoy showing pity. Your
situation is going to get worse when you allow an atmosphere of pity hang
around you. Guess what? The persons that will first come around you are those
who show pity. Showing pity has never made a plight grew weaker, but always
made it go stronger.
·
Know that God is the
health of your countenance (Psalm 42:11). There is no better way to recover
after being hit with heartbreak if you don’t make God repair your countenance.
The words of men will do something buy God’s word will do ‘ALLTHING’.
