SHAME ON AIT & NTA

During the period of the 2015 presidential campaign in Nigeria, the rot inside the media was let losed when two TV stations(AIT and NTA) broadcasted defamatory documentaries about Muhammadu Buhari . Nigerians got angry with this mess and greatly criticized the media houses. Their aim was to weaken Buhari's chances of winning the March 28 presidential election.
These media houses created a monstrous picture of Buhari by selling the idea that Nigerians are about to be led by a monster. The shame was bolstered when they craftily devise means to humiliate Buhari claiming that he lacked the educational qualification to hold the position of president. There has been a U-turn by these media houses by airing congratulatory messages to Buhari on his success at the presidential polls. NTA described Buahari “as a Colonel, between 1979 and 80, the no-nonsense soldier acquired a Masters Degree in Strategic Studies from US Army War College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, United States of America.” But this same station promoted avenues to ridicule Buhari over his certificate what a shame! The bosses of these TV station deserve  to be sanctioned for allowing the integrity of their organisation to be so soiled by their shameful conduct during the presidential election campaign all because of their selfish interest in the incumbent government.
