Former Speaker of the House of Representatives and candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Alhaji Aminu Masari, has emerged the winner of the governorship election in Katsina State. He polled 907,056 votes while the PDP candidate polled 557,826 votes.The All Progressives Grand Alliance candidate came third with 100,040 votes.
