Arthur E. Baldwin, 29, an off-duty member of the Secret Service’s uniformed division was arrested Friday morning and charged with burglary and destruction of property of his ex-girlfriend’s apartment.
When police arrived at the apartment of Baldwin's girlfriend, she was crying and shuddering. During interrogation, Baldwin said he kicked in the door, but denied breaking the windows according to the charging documents. He has been released from custody with a condition to stay away from his girlfriend. His next hearing is scheduled for April 23.
