Tennessee woman awakens from months-long coma

Sharista Giles, 20, was four-months pregnant when she was involved in a car crash near Nashville on December 6. The reports of doctors concerning her full recovery was very weak and she remained in coma for four months.She was pregnant when the car crash occurred.

 

On Wednesday, Sharista opened her eyes for the first time since the accident. However, in January she gave birth to a one-pound, 14-ounce baby boy who the family calls Baby L. Her recovery was hit with the surprise that she gave girth while in coma.
