Gabon has been declared host of the 2017 African Nations Cup. Its bid rivals Algeria and Ghana were defeated in a vote by the Confederation of African Football's (CAF) executive committee at a meeting in Cairo. Four venues have been chosen for the tournament: Libreville, Franceville, Port Gentil and Oyem.
